The Empress of Light is optional and is not required to beat the game, just like the Queen Slime. The Empress of Light has 70000, 98000, or 124950 health depending on your world’s difficulty setting. There are loads of different bosses in Terraria. Everything you do in the game is basically prepping yourself for the next boss fight. 3 Dodging the attacks in expert/master mode is a lot easier with the extra mounts. Terraria 1.4 is finally arriving on consoles. Empress of Night is a Post-Golem boss that can be summoned only in the Corruption or Crimson. Unlike the Empress of Light, the fight with Duke Fishron is available as soon as you enter Hard Mode. To get the weapon, players have to defeat Empress of Light during the daytime. The Terraprisma is the strongest minion available, though you will have to face the monumental task of beating Empress of Light during the day. This is easier said than done as the boss gets seriously buffed during this time period. Well, im not talking about defense, im talking about set bonuses and armor bonuses, like damage increase or stealth or whatever, but the armor I recommend is the hallowed set, because it provides a dodge chance, and it features damage bonuses for each set, so its definetly the top pick.
Like all other relics, placing a light source near it will cause it to emit light. Unlike most other NPCs, the Guide spawns upon world creation, before a house is available.
